Fist version of TAOX11 shipped!
It has been a very busy month for us. Starting up several new projects but also finishing the first version of TAOX11. Yesterday we have shipped the first version of TAOX11 to one of our customers. With TAOX11 they can implement CORBA clients and servers using the new IDL to C++11 language mapping. The new language mapping is very user friendly and safe. Our customer can increase their productivity heavily by switching to C++11. For them the increased runtime performance is nice, but not too important at this moment.
We are looking forward to get feedback from this large CORBA user. In parallel we are continuing the work on this product, extending it with support for CCM and DDS.

We bought the "TAO Developer’s Guide" some days ago. Will it possible to have a update for this book with the new mapping ?

Forgot to mention, but you can find several examples for the new mapping online at our osportal.
Update TAO Developers Guide
It would be possible to make an update with the new mapping but that will be a lot of work which has to be funded by the community in some form. Contact me directly if you are interested in the TAOX11 product.
